The BRT Hartner DCD Digestate Dryer has been designed to offer an “all-in-one” solution for the pre-treatment of biological wastes. Employed upstream of anaerobic digestion the combined technology incorporated within the DCD Digestate Dryer can enhance the digestion process and as a consequence digestate quality.
High water/moisture content and in-homogeneous materials greatly effect output and yield therefore the DCD Digestate Dryer incorporates a number of functions to ensure correct conditioning of material thus maximising downstream processing efficiency.
Equipped with a twin mixing unit, floor heating module and air exhaust system the DCD Digestate Dryer offers reliably and effective mixing of material whilst reducing water/moisture content. This pre-treatment cycle also increases material temperature therefore preparing the conditioned material for further processing.
In association with the DCD Digestate Dryer BRT Hartner also offers other derivatives of the design inclusive of the DC De-Compactor and DM Digestate Mixer. These additions to the range provide means for the feeding of material prior to processing plus the mixing and homogenisation of different input materials/streams associated with mechanical and biological treatment facilities.
