Material Processing Solutions Ltd have recently completed the commissioning of a BRT Hartner Bale Dewiring device for a UK customer, working within the plastics recycling sector. The complete arrangement include a BRT Hartner Bale Dewiring Device, with extended feed conveyor, connecting chain belt conveyor, and a BRT Hartner Bale Breaker.
The concept for the provided scope of supply included a customer specific design capable of handling up to 8,000kg/hr of material, requiring accurate dosing into the downstream sorting and processing facility. An extended feed conveyor allowed for the loading of numerous bales, comprising of a mixture of rigid plastics and post-consumer films. The interconnecting transfer conveyor was supplied with an extended lower horizontal section to facilitate the loading of manually dewired bales and the bale breaker provided the means of breaking down each individual bale whilst maintaining a constant regulated feed to the sorting section of the plant.
